    Anyone use Labcorp?

How much does it cost you? The VA doctor I have refused to test my hormones for 3 months, he says my symptoms are due to insomnia.

There is a link somewhere on this site floating around that allows you to buy blood work panels and then directs you to a nearest draw facility. I use labcorp for this. When I went on trt all of the panels necessary for my doc cost roughly 1200 out of pocket. I also use the VA, but am paying out of pocket for my trt. If you can show somehow that your condition received from active duty service lead to low t, then the va will cover it.

    Discounted labs dot com
    Private md labs dot com

Check out the sites as not all states allow draws without a script. Hopefully yours does.

^^^ use one of these to get good discounts. if you go straight to labcorp it'll cost you allot more. you will need to see a good TRT doc to do the right blood work to be diagnosed properly.

If you purchase labs from either of those websites it comes with a script you print off, take it to the lab and there is no extra charge.

I was on Test C from the VA for the last 4 years. I had Pneumonia over the summer, they had me stop Testosterone because my Hematocrit runs high and they didn't want any complications with the Pneumonia.

After the Pneumonia cleared up they wouldn't put me back on Test. They claimed there are new guidelines and if I just lost a little weight my Testosterone Levels would be fine. My Total T was 75 on a scale of 350 - 1100.

If you were to order every last Blood Test you need for a Proper Testosterone check-up it should run you no more than $400. Feel free to ask on here before making blood test purchases.

Holy shit that's ridiculous. Wouldn't you just love to slap the shit out of whoever makes these guidelines. Then again, I'd probably be asking to see the guidelines as well.

Yeah, I researched who the Endocrinologist was for my State, surprisingly there is only one. It did cross my mind right after it happened to pay a visit directly.

I sent an e-mail to my primary Doctor instead, because the Endo doesn't respond to patients directly, with a scientific article justifying the continuation of Test and a request to see the guidelines.

After a little back and forth the Nurse sent me a link to the Guidelines, but they are so vague that it basically lets the Doctor pick and choose who should be on it.

I use Discounted Labs a lot, so I can give good testimony to them. I've not tried Private MD Labs, so nothing to offer. The prices at Discounted Labs is excellent and so is the service. They are prompt to send you the lab orders and the results. All done via email. just make sure you check you SPAM. The first time my email ended up there and it took me a while to figure it out.

I can't say enough about how important it is for guys who are dosing themselves to get labs done regularly and to base changes in dosing on labs and not "feel" or the latest forum thread advice. Even if you under a doc's care, they seldom really understand male hormone replacement and don't understand which labs are important. Sometimes, you just have to do it on your own and pay out of pocket. Fortunately, we have access to these discounted lab providers (in most states).

I use Privatemdlabs.com they always have a discount code for 5%-20%, Labcorp takes the blood. You get your results by email in about 5 days. Tests are very cheap.
