Fat OK 3.0 hours post Humalog IM?

Is it ok to consume a protein/fat meal 2.5+ hours after the injection if Humalog is administered IM? I took 10 IU at 7:30pm, it is now 10:30pm and I am feeling no signs of hypo and want to consume my 6th meal which is a pro/fat.... I try to keep my fat intake close to 0 while the slin is active

Because you took insulin IM, it should be out of your system by the 3rd hr post injection. So, it makes sense to say it's safe to consume fats anytime after then. However, I like to play the game safe and wait another 30min - 1hr before fat consumption.

Let's just say that insulin was not fully out of your system by then (which it should be), with confidence, I can say that its level of strength would be very low as at that time insulin would be on its way to exiting your system. So, if its level of strength is low, then your body absorption level wouldn't be as high as it is for the first few hrs post injection. This means, any nutrients consumed at this time would be absorbed at almost the same rate as when insulin is not active in your body.

So, depending on how strict you are with your fat intake, depends on what you want to do. IMO, either way, fat consumption around this time would be fine. I just wait that extra bit longer because fat + me = bad reaction.
