I am 29 years old. Weight-lift for 12 years now. The last 7 years 3-7 times a week. I gain like 5 pounds of lean muscle mass each year. My target is 198 pounds on my 30th birthday. That's 18 pounds till next year august.

    Nice goal and deff reasonable..
Get your diet more on point/train at a higher intensity/and include proper rest... 5lbs/yr is pretty easy with these things intact.

    thanks for all the compliments!

i don't have a diet, yet. so i guess my diet is far off haha i've been looking in the diet section already, but haven't found anything for me, yet. that's probably so, because i don't eat chicken or any kind of bird and i also don't eat fish or anything out off the sea.

Genetics are #1 when it comes to building an awesome physique. That is why there are certain members on this board that look like crap and have run many cycles and there are members that look fantastic and haven't yet run a single cycle.

guys lets not forget hes been weight lifting for 12 years, even if not religiously he has a good base for muscle maturity. If you lift weights for 12 years no matter waht you are going to be looking decently nice.

Hmmm... Sorry, but I gotta disagree here. Personally, I can think of several people who've been lifting weights for 10+ years and still don't look decent or nice no matter what they do or how they train/diet. Some people have better genetics than others. Scriptfactory is right on the money with his last post in this thread.

Scriptfactory has something with the genetics. Myself and my metabolism, I find unless I stay on bulk diet... I can eat anything I want and my body will have a natural tendency to assume about 8% body fat... I can loose weight eating candy bars, pies, coca colas and several steaks and chicken a day. My trainer couldnt believe how I leaned up rather quickly and dropped 3 pounds a week on a 3500 calarie a day diet because I dropped the very high calarie weight gainer shakes.... only way I can even break above 10% BF for bulking is with boosting diet with these 1800 calarie a day GNC weight gainer shakes.

I hate to say it, I am spoiled and eat dirty thanks to my metabolism... I am all the time eating Wendy's triples for lunch... trips my trainer out how cut I am actually becoming with veins everywhere eating so dirty.

That all may be true but you are not immune to diabetes and heart disease, clean up the sugar intake at least.

You are pretty lean with that experience training. I suspect you might have a genetic tendancy to assume 180 lbs (like me). Thus trying to force rapid weight gain in a short period of time, all you do is increase body fat and cush out your musculature. Maybe just keep on with the current program or maybe since you gain 5 lbs a year... cap out this one year gain at about 10 lbs.
