about the juice, im totally undecided right now. ive got alot of thinking to do before I reach my decision. lifting isint just a hobby of mine, its an addiction(as im sure msot of you will agree) im very serious about lifting, and know i would never lose interest in it. and i have goals, natural goals and others. naturally, i definately want to break the ontario junior squat record. and ive still got over 3 years too do it. If i do get on the sauce, my goal wont be to win some local competition or break a couple records. it will be to compete at a national level, maybe even a world strongman event. im not conceeded in anyway, and im not saying its going to happen, im talking about at least giving it a shot. i feel with my dedication and genetics, there is a possibility.
XXL-thanks alot man, your positive feedback is very motivating
and thanks dangerousground! your a freak. not much else can be said!Last edited by thetank; 01-11-2003 at 12:26 PM.

uhh as far as my work outs go, actually ile just give you my program, ive no class on wednesdays, and tiger woods 2003 is beginning to take over my life. so ile put it down for a while heh...
chest-flat bar-only because im competing soon
135 x 6
185 x 6
225 single
275 x 5-6
max out if im maxing this week
225/negatives x 6
incline dumbell
60 x 10
80 x 6-10
100 x 5
followed by flat dumbell if i need a little more, if not i go right to cable cross overs then im done.
legs
squats-(just getting back after a few month lay off for legs)
135 x 6
225 x 6
315 x 6
405 x 6
225 x failure
walking lunges
4 sets last 2 almost failure
leg extensions superset with calve raises
arms
seated alternate curls
30's x 10
40's x 10
55-60's x 6
40's x failure
superset with
close grip bench
135 x 10
185 x 8
235 x 10
135 x 12
then light straight bar curls. i cant use alot of wieght because it absolutely kills my forearms. i use light wieght, maybe go up too 90 lbs total at the most, and use a wide grip, i started doing these too hit the inner head of the bicep, after no being able to curl a bar for so long due tothe pain, my outer head was alot more developed.
so anyway 4 sets of straight bar curls, then
tricep dumbell (overhead) extensions
60 x 10
80 x 10
100-110 x 10
60's x 10
last, pulldowns superset with any bicep exercise, i like to change it up, if i dont make it reverse curls, ile work forearms after.
thats it for arm day
back/shoulders
heavy deads
135 x 10
225 x 10
315 x 10
405 x whatever i can get, havent been able to do these due to the leg injury also
light lat pulldowns
4 sets
superset with cable rows
4 sets dont pay attention too wieght during these sets, more of a big warm up, get the pump goin
then i do t-bar rows
1 plate(45 lbs) x 12
2 paltes x 12
3 plates x 12
sometimes 4 plates
if not, 225 again x 12
superset with dumbell military press
60 x 10
70 x 10
90 x 8 (hopefully hundreds this week)
60's x almost failure
then its db shrugs, kinda light, i dont like going heavy
60's x 12
70's x 14
80's-90's x 16
60's x 12
superset with lateral raises
4 sets, light wieght, usually dont go over 25-30 lbs
then finish off with another variation of cable rows or barbell rows, along with front cable raises for front delts. and thats about it.
if you didnt notice the pattern in my training, i always reach my maximum intensity and wiehgt on the 3rd set, with low reps during my warm up sets. i fine alot of poeple do way too many warm up sets, burning themselves out by the time they get to thier max. as soon as i started lowering my warm up sets too 6-8 reps, and maxing out on my3rd set of just about every exercise, my strength really started to increase.
any other questions let me know
thanks,
tank

im getting a bench shirt as we speak, so in competition i plan on benching around 350, which is 4 months away.
right now, i bench 275 for 6, 300 fine, shooting for 310-320 soon (raw)
squat and deadlift-as said in the post before this one, im coming off an injury, but my legs are my probably my strongest bodypart, as i was squatting and deadlifting 405 after 3 months of training legs. in competition, im hoping too total 12-1300 under 198 lbs.
thanks

Thats a big workload bro you must be working one bodypart per week
How long does it take you to get through say your chest day.?Are you taking supps.

01-29-2003, 09:16 PM #55
i just got some whey protien and CLA for cutting, but i havent taken any for the last 4 months, due to lack of money.
chest day is my shortest day, i could be done in 40 minutes. the longest im ever at the gym is an hour and 1/2. i work out on a day on day off schedual, although i more than often take an extra day off, ide say i work out approx. 3-4 days a week. i think i actually do alot less than most lifters, try my program out if you want, other people ive put on it increased most of thier numbers.
thanks

Hey TANK!
The GUNs are huge! But if i may hit you off with a lil constructive opinion while everyone else is trying to bask in you glory. Hit your back hard and heavy so that you may achieve that pronounced thick V-Shape this way your traps become more thicker and Im not sure if thats and off season wieght you are carrrying but you should cut up a lot of that bulk so this way more of your true muscular deffinition is expose CLENBUTEROL is a good cutting agent.

Why would anyone flame him? You are built identical to me at your age, only I was far from natural. I'm totally amazed you're natty at that size/experience. You have incredible genetics. If you do decide to hit some gear up, i can't wait to see you. Huge.

There is no doubt about it, you certainly live up to your name! LOL
What's your bulking diet like? How much calories did you inhale in order to reach your goal?
Again man, you keep up the great work! I for one get inspiration from guys like you.
