Safe to take protein shakes after surgery?
Was curious to know if it is safe to drink a protein shake after having surgery and beein prescribed meds? I had my tonsils out and cannot eat food yet. Just soups. So i've dropped alot of weight and have lost alot of energy. Kinda got me thinking maybe having a shake once a day may give some energy back. But not sure if i should beeing on all these meds. I know i should ask my doc but I figured ask here before I see him.
