Creatine Before or After
Do you guys take your creatine before or after workout?
If you take it after your workout, do you mix it with your protein shake?
Thanks

It depends on if you are haveing a high carb PWO shake. If you are not adding dextrose, or eating a lot of carbs PWO, then I would take it prior to workout IMO.

I use phosphagenHP for my creatine because it also has carbs. I mix that with whey protien immediatelly after my workout..

man i am taking cell mass and it only has 3 grams CEE per scoop and it says to take 1 after you workout and 1 about 8 hours later or before. I am also using no xplod, so now i feel that i am not getting enough creatine to make a difference b/c i am only using 1 serving of cell mass a day.(can't afford to take 2 b/c it will only last for 20 days)

I take it before, so it has time to obsorb... I guess, it makes sence to me. I also don not mix it with my protien shake, it makes it taist to chalky, like to much poweder and not enought liquids, but good luck

i take 5 grams 2-3 hours prior to training and 5 grams post workout mixed into my post workout shake:-
60 grams of whey isolate
60 grams of glucose
5g of creatine
10 grams of fructose
10 grams of glutamine
dieting at present.
i also do not use creatine on off days that is why i use it pre-workout.
before anyone adds that creatine can cause subqutaneous fluid retention i am aware of this and know from previous use what creatine does to me personally.
my theary is doing it this way i get the benefits pre workout of creatines impact on training and a small dose to replenish stores.not using it on my days off for me limits fluid retention.
i know creatine causes osmosis and volumeisis muscle but i also overspill with water (subqutaneously-under the skin)smoothing me out out, not advantageous when dieting and trying to assess ones condition.

CEE doesnt matter when you take it only once ed should suffice some take it prior to training for increased strength but I personally never get strength from any creatine.

creatine doesnt increase strength. increases blood flow and nutrients.
just take 5g a day, doesnt matter when.

creatine allows ATP to fire more intensely for a longer period of time.
atp is what causes muscle to contract, creatine causes a more intense contraction.
it can therefore lead to strength gains.
