protein intake question
ive read that u can only digest about 30-40 gram of protein at one meal. if this is true then wouldn't it be pointless to take protein shakes that have as much as 50 grams of protein in one serving like isopure?

I've mixed a Isopure packet with two scoops of weight gainer(1/2serving) together equaling 78g and have been OK. Just make sure you eat a butt load of fiber. I get 40-60g of fiber on top of a daily dose of Citrucil

I asked the guy at the health shop i go to the same question Hes very educated and knows his stuff He told me that you can digest 60grams in 2hours Personally i think it depends on the person Someone weighing 250 can definatley intake more protein at one meal than someone that weighs 150 So evaluate yourself and go for there

This is a quote from someone at another site, and I completely agree with him.

Bullshit I can only digest 30g of protein at a time. Work your way up...start at 30...but you can easily move your way up to basically as much as you want...provided you don't get insane with it.
