If you go 1 body part a day then you also have to take into account a couple things 1, EVERYONE DOES CHEST ON MONDAY and 2 you need a reward at the end of the week to keep you motivated. So here's what I will do:

    m-Legs
    t-chest
    w-back
    t-shoulders
    f-arms

or I will run this as well

    m-legs
    t-chest-bi's (Push Pull)
    w-back-tris' (p*p)
    t-rest
    f-shoulders
    s-legs
    s-rest
    m

I don't have an exact schedule, but I do have a split.

    DAY 1: Bi/Delt
    DAY 2: Chest/Tri
    DAY 3: Legs
    DAY 4: Bi/Trap
    DAY 5: Back/Abs

2 days of rest in between those. I like to work Bi's 2X and on occassion if I want to give another muscle another workout, I'll do that group 2x a week. I like my split and Can see some good results after training.

I honestly like going tri's after chest. I go hard with tri's and I would have to say tri's are one of my better muscle groups.

I usually do something like this:

    Monday: Bi's/Tris
    Tuesday: Legs/Abs
    Wednesday: Chest
    Thursday: Back/Abs
    Friday: Shoulders/Traps
    Sat: Abs
    Sunday: Break

Right now I'm also doing cardio 6-7x a week

Sometimes I'll combine and do Tri's along with Shoulders or Chest and Bi's with Back and just switch the days around. Just mix it up here and there but the above is a typical week.

Pimp Juice i experienced the same problem. I found the only way of getting round it was either to work chest and tris on tuesday and shoulders on friday, or work my shoulder routine into chest and back days (which im doing now) and do arms on the friday. Doing shoulder presses the same day as chest is a bitch! You cant shift half as much weight, but im still getting good gains. In a few months i will probably switch back for a while.

Prime, i was thinking about putting sholders in on chest day, but i can't stand not being able to push as much weight as a would be able to if I worked sholders on their own day. i think i am going to switch legs to fri and sholders to thurs. what i need to do is stop being a bitch and stick to one workout though.

its good to change up your workout once in a while. I usually stick with whats giving me gains till they taper down then do something new.

    M-chest and back; upper abs
    T-shoulders and arms; lower abs
    W-Legs; upper abs
    Th-chest and back; lower abs
    F-shoulders and arm; upper abs
    S-Legs; lower abs.
    Su-rest.

wow, abs 6 days a week... thats way too much IMHO not enough time for them to rest and recover. when i work my abs they are pretty much shot the following day so that if i tried to do them back to back days my second day wouldn't be working them very well at all.

If you want more information on HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) here is a good link that has lots of info on it. People do HIIT for different reasons ranging from weight loss to sprinting power. I keep HIIT in my routine cause as a cyclist this is an important aspect of training for me.

are you on a cycle? Persoanlly i would say this would be too much either way, but if you are doing this natty then IMO you really may want to consider dropping the volume
