    Why is it bad.....

To do cardio after a workout even if it totals an hour? I find it difficult to get to the gym 2x a day.

Some can get away w/it, but it's a minority.

Basically after weights you want to begin the recovery process by EATING, not by following up anaerobic activity with aerobic activity.

You also nullify the fat burning effects of cardio (wave of lipolysis) by slamming down the pwo offering (ideally dex/whey) immediately after the cardio ceases.

Basically you don't get the best of both activities by doing this.

I follow ya SC, so would it be ok then to start with cardio, then move to lifting if you have only one time at the gym a day?

I wouldnt suggest that either. Due to the fact that you will be drained from the cardio work, meaning that you couldnt put 110% in to your lifting. A warm up is ok, but anything to metabolic would be cheating you out of pushing yourself when you hit the iron.

Plus, you'll be burning the calories that you should be using to fuel your weights during your cardio (not fat) and then have nothing left once you start lifting.
