should I start doing abs yet?? ( pics )
I have been pretty heavy for a while, I am 25 years old and currently 175lbs, I still have some fat on me but allot less then when I was 195.
The reason I have not been doing abs is because I don't want the muscle to push my fat out even more..
Anyway I have a pic of myself ( the only one I got ) and would like to know you guys opinion if I should start..
If I should what should I do and what days Etc...
Thanks!!
BTW!! A little warning on the pic I took it with my camera phone for some internet hoe about 2 weeks ago, I edited out the "MONSTER"
I would take another one but at work..

pretty small edit for a "MONSTER" haha
that IS one disturbing photo. wasn't expecting that.
Yes i would do abs. In fact i would have been doing abs....
and as for this comment below, wrong approach IMO. You sound like a girl saying "I don't workout because i don't want to get big and bulky like those guys you see on TV". <- That's bullsh!t. It takes many years of doing many things the CORRECT way to acheive a physique like theirs. and a long time to acheive great abs. They don't pop out over night. Work your abs like any other muscle group.

Yes,
Work your abs. Your core is the most important aspect of all major lifts. . .

definately work your abs, not only will they look better when you lose more weight, but your core strength will go up allowing you to lift more.

core strength is the foundation to overall strength. Yes you need to work them. You dont need to train them 7 days a week but they need the same attention as any other bodypart.

The answer is yes. You should train every muscle you can train. The more muscles you have, the faster you burn fat!!

i hit abs yr around whether im bulking of leaning out, cardio is the key to getting great abs in some ppls case, me personally, never do cardio and still maintain decent abs... some ppl dont understand having stong abs will also help in other forms of lifting its always good to have a stong stomach area when weight training IMO good luck

Abs are an integral part of lifting especially squats and deadlifts.. So even if not for show you should be training them
