Was lifting and did something to my left chest
Was lifting and did something to my left chest muscle. Was on my third set with 275. On the second rep when I was going up a Sharp pain hit my upper left pec. I stopped and took about 10 min off. then went to try incline with 135... Hurt on the first rep so I stopped. Its been about an hour since the gym and its throbbing like hell. What the do you bros think it is.. no separation at all.

ice it. Lay off it for a few days then re-assess the damage.

You could be overtraining too, I saw your program and it had a lot of volume. Way too much IMO.

Yeah I know I have been over training... I just started to cut back. Hurts.. is starting to swell a little. I have to type with my right arm. What do you think about hitting my back in three days?

May want to go get an X-Ray or similar examination.
No sense in taking chances that could lead to a torn pectoral muscle.

I have given it almost three weeks now and still hurts like hell. I am not lifting my chest at all. I went to the Doc. he said that I didn't tear the muscle I might have pulled it. What do you guys think? How long before I can lift again.

yup, you may have a very small tear, which could lead to a major one, tell your doc you request to have it looked at by a specialist.
