Problem with Legs
I'm hopin for some help guys and gals.
I'm 38, been training on and off since I was 14. Very serious for the last year. I had hip surgery when I was a kid and really didn't do legs heavy because I was afraid to injur them.
Well, now that I'm putting on a bit of size, my legs look thin. although they are not very strong they seem to take well to heavy training.
My hip problem seems to be a thing of the past.
So here is the Question. - How the hell can I catch up now ?
I do my legs once a week, should I do them twice ? - Add more excersises ?
Slowing down my upper body work out is not an option. I look better now than when I was 18 !

Squat, Squat, and Squat. Use good form start light to be sure your hip problem is in fact a thing of the past. For hamstrings do exercises like glute ham raises, partail deadlifts, and pull throughs.
You could find out about these exercises at www.elitefts.com read the articles about box squating and squat workouts. These articles are very informative and if used right the results never end. Check out some of the westside powerlifting threads and see what other members have to say about westside methods.
good luck,

squating is a good way to add size,... if your back hurts when going heavy, try leg presses heavy, (this releases natural growth hormones) .....
