    Strength...

    Curious about strength workouts...
Normally during a strength workout I will do 5x5 (on core bodyparts) one day then 3x8 (on core) on my next day for that part. Is this a good routine? Fixing to start another routine, any help is apprecciated. Thanks

You can always lower your rest time between sets while still upping the weight slightly... works for me for at least 4-6 weeks...

The overall volume is very close to the same 25reps vs. 24reps. The 5x5 would be for muscular strength and the 3x8 would be for muscular hypertrophy. For an excellent article on strength, check these articles out:

You're welcome. It is a long read but I promise it will be worth the time invested.

I started to check it earlier after ChE classes and I had an hour break before my next class so i went to the engineering library and started to read them and I just skimmed them during that break and they seem to be pretty in depth. So now im back on and going over them in full detail.
