    stiff legged deadlifts.

    Just wondering do you guys hit stiff legged deadlifts on back day or leg day? Seems to do more work on my lower back then my hamstrings.

    Are you elevated while you do them? More ROM will hit your hamstrings better.

    Yes i am elevated when i do them, why does that make a difference? I usually bend my legs slightly when going down and go down till by back is about paraell.

    There's your problem, they are called stiff legged deadlifts because you are supposed to keep your legs stiff and being elevated and going below parallel gives your hamstrings more of a stretch and hit's em hard.

    so this lift is designed to work hamstrings rather then lower back? or both? I think i will do these on leg day because more work on hamstrings, to many other lifts to do for back.

    I hit'em on leg day.... Best hamstring exercise imo
