donating blood ?
Now this could be a stupid question but here goes,
so theres a sheet gone up at work asking if anyone would like to donate blood 3 times a year, and i would like to but plan on doing a cycle very soon so what would the implications be ? like if i was using test e and var would they decline it ? what about in PCT would it be safe to donate ?
Anybody any experience in this ?

so on the questionere, when they ask about the medications you are taking, are you going to be honest? You need to be.

Never donated, but always wanted to, just never got round to doing it, just if they came to my work i thought i'd do my bit thats all.
agreed would have to be honest but i think the short answer here is : do not donate.

you cant donate blood ever if you have injected anything another then what a medical professional has given you.
its on the questionaire.

Unless you're a doctor injecting yourself then I don't think you'd qualify. If you're donating blood it should be for the benefit of the people that need it. I don't have medical data to spit back for you but IMO it's not a good idea. It's the thought that counts though....

I know people who donate while on cycle. as stated above it would be good. I actually had this discussion with tmos a few months before he left us. I was very tired and crap on cycle. And apparently rbcs build up. apparently to much or too little is no good if i recall correctly... So he was saying he would donate right before and half way threw a cycle...
And honestly do you think they would trust anyone filling out that paper? Hell no. They are responsible for whoever they give that too. I am sure it is tested. And if no good disposed of.

They do NOT have the technology to test for everything. Mad Cows desease is one I know they cannot/don't test for.
The questionere's have a purpose, they ARE relied upon, and you need to fill them out as honestly as you can. If you are pinning, and lie on the questionere, it would be totally irresponsible to donate.
They screen the blood for the obvious stuff, but if they tested for everything they had the ability to test for, 1) it would consume huge amounts of the blood that is donated, and 2) it would be extremely cost prohibitive.

I donate, primarily because I have ultra high ferritin levels and high iron. I'm on TRT, and the Red Cross could care less. They were more concerned about my travels through Mexico than anything else. I wouldn't worry too much about rejection due to the AAS you're taking.
