    On Cycle blood test

    Hey guys,

    I'm going for an on cycle blood test. I'm gonna go for the usual Sugar, Cholesterol, Test level type stuff. I'm also gonna stress the following to my Dr:


    -Complete Blood Count w/ Differential
    -Estradiol, Sensitive
    -Insulin Growth Factor (IGF -1)
    -Comprehensive Metabolic Panel
    -Testosterone (Free) , Serum (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration) With Total Testosterone
    -Luteinizing Hormone (LH)
    -Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

    Anything I should stress with him?

    Forget Lh & FSH as your shut down and they will be pretty much zeroed out and a waste of money. Add in a lipid panel and possibly consider a complete thyroid panel including TSH, T3, T4, FT3, FT4, RT3 and antibodies.

    Take a look and examples privatemedlabs.com have on line for their male hormone panel and also check out lef.com for the same thing.

    The male hormone panel is $169 at privatemedlabs. I thought I read somewhere that it cost around $50?
