    Psychological Impact of PCT

So I guess I'm a little worried about PCT. I'm in week 5 of a 12 week Test E 500 1st cycle and I'm in heaven. I've been riding hard and managing to keep my wait gains to a minimum which is my goal. My strength is throught the roof. I rode 48 miles yesterday and went up 4500' and it felt like a little jog.

I ain't no spring chicken, though. 40 y/o, 6' 198 lb, 12%. I do have depression and take meds to help out. I am so happy with the Test, that it's gonna be a shame to leave it. The Fountain of Youth!

I'm less concerned with losing the gains and more concerned with simply feeling tired, lethargic and depressed. I'm sure that there will be some of all of that but I'm hoping that it is manageable.

Any wisdom on this one from any old depressives out there?

I am not an old depressive but my insight may help. I am also in my forties and love the feeling of the test effects. What you might want to get checked or ask you doctor is to get on hrt. You have all the symptoms and its underdiagnosed. I bet once you get on hrt, you can throw the depression pills in the drain.

    your probably right

Yeah, I can relate to that. It seems to have a far more stabilizing effect than the happy pills. I honestly value the psychological impact as much as the physiological one.

I'm scared that since I admitted steroid use to my HMO (abcess treatment), that this will preclude me from obtaining legit HRT. "Steroid Seeking Behavior"

I wonder what a self administered HRT of Test E would look like. 100ml/week?

Im only 20 and when i come off i come down hard, i gwt deppressed and suicidal as shit. Honestly at this point i am acctually debating on going natty because of the head games when i come off, its a real bitch. BUT since ur 40, when u come off just go to ur doc and get bloodwork done and get sum TRT/HRT that way u never really have to come off u just go to a low dose. Its actually safe to... Here is a link to the TRT/HRT forum here http://forums.steroid.com/forumdisplay.php?f=72

Some people 'crash' after a cycle and some don't.
If you do run a PCT pick one that doesn't involved clomid, as many users report clomid makes them emotional (can't watch lassie without shedding a tear lol)

If your feeling fantastic now (very good to hear by the way) then def ask your doc about HRT.

If you have an understanding doc it might even be worth admitting you self prescribed an HRT course and tell them exactly how good it make you feel.

If they go against your wish's look for another doc.
A prescription for gear saves any possible legal hassle in the future, and of course you can always add a little to the HRT dose 'here and there' yourself.

Trying not to be personal, but has your sex life picked up also? If your married get your wife on your side and maybe go to the docs with you so the doc can see its having a POSITIVE effect on all aspects of your life.
