bro the same thing happens to me... then people i dont know come up and make comments. Some even grab the muscles im working out. Normally i just turn up my music and pretend nothing is happening... look at the ground (so i dont make eye contact with these ****ers) and get back in the zone.

when you are over the 260 weight bracket you will get ppl staring. I get it while im driving in my car all the time. You just have to remember that its not "common" to see ppl weighing over 260 pretty muscular all the time.

my suggestion is.. DROP A DB ON THIER FOOT!!!
all of them.. if they look at you wrong drop one.. if they talk during a set.. drop one...they walk in between you and the mirror.. drop one...
lol naww I dont really do that.. I dont have the balls to be a total bitch.. but I give anyone and everyone a dirty look for anything they do that pisses me off.. and then i talk loudly about it to Coldstone after we finish a set so that they can hear how they have pissed me off.... One day I will drop a DB on this one girls foot.. but Im waiting till i can lift like the 50's+ and then Ill do it.. TEEE HEEE

Yeah I know that story. I don't mind, it's an easy way to pick up women at the gym. They made the first move, chat em up, get a number, then get back to your workout.
IMO, if you worry about people staring at you then got'a problems. I mean it can get annoying if it keeps up but just try to forget about it and move on. Either that or arrange your workouts at a time of day when the gym is dead and wear sweatpants and a sweatshirt or big baggy tshirt.

Im planning on posting some post cycle pics soon.
Well, this is what happened last night lol. My friend and I walk into the gym, and the same sh!t happens again (the staring). Well we walk to the back of the gym where they have the smith machine and the cables. These punks were there unfortunately doing shrugs on the smith (pussies). After each set theyre like "yeah baby, all natural"
Mind you they were doing a plate I chuckled at the bullsiht. I figured that I'm not let these pussies fcuk up my training so w/e im just going to ignore them unless they scrounge up the balls to say something to my face. Fcuking pussies.

I still think they're looking for a source. They wanted you to say something like "If you think that's good, wait till you see what you can do with all the gear I'm going to sell you!!"
Fukcers!!

im not that big by any means, but there are a lot of pus sies in my gym so when i see the chemistry club staring at me and my workout partner when we're lifting i just start making funny noises and grunt and just play along to there thoughts of "what the hell is wrong with that guy?" it actually makes it amusing and you wont feel the need to kill them.....good luck down in the MIA

One question......If a tyro does accost you at a reasonable time in the gym and is sincerely looking for advice because he see's this monster and obviously acknowledges that you must be infinitly wise in the ways of the weight....lol. Okay, seriously the gawking and rudeness do need to stop but telling some chum to cycle cell-tech and Nitro-tech then follow up with PCT of a lb of PB&J does a disservice to the fitness community. What if you did not understand an area particularly well and approached someone for help? You would sure hope the information is legitmate and not likly to be some joke. I agree that some people are credulous and stupid that is why we need to help them.

2. Walk over and politely say that you've noticed them staring and it makes you uncomfortable, please stop. This is the hardest choice and it may backfire on you. If they are vindictive, then they might stare at you on purpose forever.
3. The next time you see them staring. Look at one of them until you catch his eye, shake your head "no" and mouth the word "no."
4. ...Back to choice #1. Ignore them (the best choice). Stop making a big deal out of it. You'd be bragging if it were a bunch of goodlooking women staring at you. You're the only one stigmatizing the situation. Probably no one else in the gym realizes it's happening except for you and the three guys. Stop being a wuss and concentrate on your workout. Nothing they are doing is threatening you or harmful to you. You're the one that's being agressive--farting, etcetera. If you stop looking at them they will eventually leave you alone. Treat them the same way you've probably treated an unattractive woman (unless you were excessively rude or violent to the woman).
Regarding the other posts about being touched in the gym:
I don't like when people touch me in the gym. No one should touch anyone especially if they are not friends. Being touched and being stared at are quite different. I wouldn't hit anyone or be violent in anyway if they touched me, but I would very clearly tell them not to touch me again.Last edited by BASK8KACE; 06-05-2004 at 11:15 PM.

No ttuPrincess I SAID HELP NOT A SOURCE. Maybe you can refer them to a message boards like this one. How bout explaining to them the imporatance of a strict diet? Maybe listen to their ideas and tell them what they might be doing wrong. Ask them about their training regiments. Offer constructive cricism. Assistance can be plenty of things and if "some idiot does come up to me asking for help" I would defintly help. If someone believes a massive physique can be obtained naturally then that person may not be knowledgable about bodybuilding in general and hence needs advice about everything but juice.
