How to burn MPG or AVI on a CD-R?

Alright guys ive got about 25 movies on my hard drive I'd like to burn onto cd's and have them viewable on my dvd player, I know it can be done but I just dont know what software to download on Kazaa

you'll need to split the files up, maybe into two halfs. then you can burn them onto a vcd using nero.

Nero will do it just fine. Just make a video CD with nero.

You can put them on CD-R's as listed above - might have to split them up.

If you want to put them on DVD's and have the DVD menu (one that you create), use Nero Vision Express - it's pretty self explanatory once you execute the program.

Do you have a DVD burner? If so just put them on a DVD, you can make a VCD on DVD and they hold some 4 gigs of data, much more than a CDR which holds about 700 mb. Just a suggestion if you have a DVD burner.

Nah no DVD burner yet... any suggestions on a good program to edit the files and split them before I burn a VCD with nero?

god dammit i got the mpeg all split and burned to a VCD with nero but the audio is off by a second!!! AAAAAAHHHHH

Sounds like you have a slow pc. You could defrag the harddrive that may help.

burn the vcd SLOWLY this will fix it. leave it going over night or something, burn it at about 2-6x speed MAX. this will sort it out
