Im sorry to offend any new members but if you go and post hundreds of posts in the whore thread it doesnt make you any more known. i still consider myself a newb to what this sight has to offer and i have been here well over a year now. i dont understand why ppl just come here to rack up posts and thats it. dont get me wrong i "whore" alot also but ive been here for longer than a few weeks. try to contribute a little at least, if not find a chot room to waste your time.

It completely baffles me why someone would want to devote so much of their life to just building up a massive post count - Whats the point? - Does it really impress anybody?
Maybe they do it because they feel it is a substitute for knowledge and makes them look like they are a seasoned BBer but you can tell if someone knows what they're talking about by what they write in their posts, you can often spot people with HUGE post counts saying the dumbest things.
Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it - it's their time to waste after all, I just think it's a little odd.
I chuckle to myself as I imagine these socially awkward 150lb geeks going through their day getting ignored and laughed at by people in the 'real world' but quietly thinking to themselves, "Huh, if these idiots knew about my 5,000+ post count on AR then they'd realise who they were messing with, I can't wait to get home, log on and assume my alter-ego (insert name of whore here) the 250lb bodybuilder with the massive post count."

1. im addicted to this damn site
2. i wanna learn as much as possible
