    Medical Advice needed!!!!!

Hey guys, some of you know I got a hole in my arm from a spider bite, now the hole was packed at the hospital 3-4 days ago I think! I have a surgeons appointment in like 24 hrs but the thing is the hole is looking alot better and its almost closing on the packing!!!!

Is it ok if I get some gloves, tweezers, get drunk as ****, sterlize them and pull it out to make sure it doesnt get stuck in there? or this is a bad Idea??

EDIT: well not drunk as ****, just a couple or more drink to numb the pain a bit!

i would leave it alone. i dont think it will close up in 24 hours but even if it does, he can give you a little zylocaine (sp) or something along those lines and make a little slit and pull the gauze out and then just give you a stitch or two. if you try to DIY something could go wrong. at least if something goes wrong at the hospital, you are already there. have patience grasshoppa...

I dont mind pain during most procedures, it's the healing time and not being 100% that pisses me off like crazy!

I recently recovered from a brown recluse spider bite. I was wondering how
long you waited to seek treatment?

I thought it was poision oak. Got the welts and the yellow discharge. I put bleach on it and iodine and rubbing alchohol on it kept it elevated and put ice on it. Next day started anitbiotics. I alos used GH (saizen) every day for
about 3 weeks. Usually EOD. It is healed with out scar.

I have killed over a hundred since then. I hate the little f---kers. I saw your
video. Man, I feel for you. I sincerely hope things work out for you and in
quick time. You must live in Missoure, Kentucky, Arkansas or down south.
Thats where they live. I live on a lake and they love the boat dock.

That day, I washed the tweezers with anti-bacterial soap and alcohol, took off the dressing, washed it with AB soap, grabbed the packing with the tweezers and pulled it out and put new dressing on.
