i love wolves, had one for 14 years, timber/alaskan grey mix
thats cool how big was the wolf/dog? my unkle had a 80/20 mix wolf/shepard it killed and gutted 200 lb pig... the farmer (lived only a few hundred yards away) came over with a shot gun and demanded the "dog" be killed - and believe it or not my unkle and grampa handed him over ... "dog" never came back. his name was joshua and he was huge!! very tall and like 130 lbs...

it was full blood wolf, just bred from two different types

in KO's prime she was around 6 feet from tail to nose and about 130-150lbs i believe, pretty big even by wolf standards and very lean and powerful, killed a pitbull and rotweiler that tried to attack my mother and i in seconds, just rammed into one and tore out it's throat

funny they (my unkle and the wolf dog) had the same story... (the wolf dog was great with us kids) they were at a picnic and a friend brought his rot and the two dogs got in to it... my unkle said that the rot was just about skinned alive and no body could get near... the wolf dog, was hovering over it like it was dinner. my unkle had to get rough with the wolf dog to get it away. cats would be found gutted and half eaten on a reg occurance... that was gross

yeah, my mom got her when i was 6 months old and she was 2-3 weeks so she was raised with us, she was great with everyone unless they raised their voice or something at us, then she would do this growl that just froze you in place, we loved her to death but she died a couple years ago from old age
