hey guys recently i saw a documentry on steroid bigger,stronger,faster in that they mention that there where certain pills that u can take to get over fear can u plz tell me the name of that pill and its side effects

as whenever i go to certain places or event i get cold hands and i am really scared if i would be able to perform or not a little help would really help me

Why not talk to you doctor. There is no ONE pill that is a fix for everyone, it depends on your specific issues.

There is not a single pill that will fix everyone for anxiety. Some will make you worse. You can get Antidepressants, they help some people and others they cause them to commit suicide. It's not something to really play with but I'm sure if you search long enough you will probably find what you are looking for. Let us know if it helps.

Yep I remember cause I use to take it.

The med they were talking about in that film is inderal (also called propolanol hydrochloride). Its a beta blocker or more specifically it blocks the action of adrenaline in the body.

What it will do is this:

When you get scared/nervous/excited adrenaline surges right? Basic common sense. But certain people release too much adrenaline, like me. And I know this for a fact because my adrenal receptors were sensitized by a well known rec drug (that I abused)
W/e the case some people simply have more adrenal receptors, some drugs can also cause those receptors to multiply (if you're born normal), and other people are born with too many, a genetic thing.

Inderal stops adrenaline from firing off.

I know people are reacting a certain way to this thread but I'm not sure they realize how popular inderal is for this purpose, how well it works, and how I would have not made it through college w/out it (for speeches cause Id get panic attacks). Some people have phobias of things you dont think twice about doing, but if its an issue for them dont try to minimize it cause its not an issue for you.

There is also benzos like xanax and klonopin but I still recommend inderal over any benzo for social phobias/fear related problems.
Xanax has a nasty anxiety rebound, plus it doesn't suppress the nervous system to the degree that inderal does.
It basically changes your mental state but your heart can still race on it and you can still get the physiological symptoms of adrenaline.

On inderal you can THINK scared, and be worried, but your body won't react or feel like its in any sort of fear induced state, so your mind calms with it.

Xanax works more on your mind, but it never was able to stop sweating/shaking/stuttering while inderal handled all of that 100%.

Side effects are very minor like cold limbs, tiredness and fatigue but I'd mainly just get a little tired as it was wearing off.
In all honesty it has been the most useful med I've ever taken my whole life. I keep a bottle filled in my cabinet at all times for emergencies, but after time inderal actually helped me need less of it just because I knew it was there when I needed it and worked all the time, that security by itself made me not really need it anymore. (either that or it actually kills off receptors over time)

Don't worry about them, for some people the effects of taking too much roids makes them think they are hollywood stars, and anything they say or do is cool, lol. Just keep working on your phobias, by the way you should try doing intense cardio, the stronger your heart the more efficient it pumps, meaning a lowered heart rate.
