    Anyone into shooting?

    I use the AR-15 5.56nato.

    it is a bushmaster, a great rifle, I had tons of shortstrokes when I first got her, but I upgraded all the extracting action, now it is great, I was not shooting hot ammo either, I was shooting the el cheapo russian ammo, had to send my BCG in to get tuned up by bushmaster.

    as far as a pistol the PT 24/7 PRO chambered in 45ACP, cuz 9 mil is for girls/girlish bitch guys.

    anyway, LMK!

    Yes you can buy a gun anywhere that sells them. If you buy from a store you have to do a background check, but other than that the U.S. takes the second ammendment seriously, for now at least.

    shooting 3-4 times a week. Shoot in a skeet league, plus just keeping sharp for hunting season. Probably shoot my bow(its my baby) daily or close to it.

    I am from the uk and the only place you can get a real gun aroung here is down a back ally. But if you get caught with a gun your looking at 5 years inside.

    Its a new law only a few years old but its ment to be 5 years no matter wot your excuse!

    yea, we can even own a full auto here in god ol USA, all you need to get is a tax stamp, and get signed from the city sheriff, and get a pic taken, and fingerprints, you can buy full body armor, but will all the nuts that came out of the wood work after obama was elected, I am sure we will be loosing some rights.

    I was watching a vid of the UK, where when they passed that law, they took away all pistols/semi auto rifles/pump shotguns, the people looked sooo pissed, they showed some of the guns that were in their family since the 1600s, they just got chopped in half and then thrown into a big pot of melted gun metal, this other guy had a diamonds embedded all over his pistol, he also got his taken away, but they did not cut his in half, it went to a museum.

    On some of the forums I post, all the people in the UK say take all the threats seroisly, that if we just sit on our asses we will be in the same boat.

    You guys can still get a break berral shotgun, that contains less then 2 or less shells, and you can only get a bolt action rifle. (just stuff for hunting.)

    6.8mm Noveske with a 10.5" barrel. I make my own ammo.

    My next toy will be a CheyTac .408.

    Forget the cheap Russian, Chinese, N. Korean, etc., ammo. Get your own equipment and do your own loading for maximum accuracy and cost effectiveness. Plus, that cheap stuff uses powder that corrodes your weapon. Not good, Beavis. Definitely, not good.

    A double tap from a 9mm to the dome isn't going to be much different from a .45. Nothing against the .45, I love it, but a 9mm in a qualified operator's hands is going to be a worthy secondary weapon. There's a reason why most NAVSPECWAR operators pack a P226 Sig in 9mm. Don't discount the 9mm just because it's a smaller caliber.

    once again agreed. Huge fan of the 9mm esp for civilian cc permits. I actually carry a .380 which I love.

    I only use JHP +P ammo to bump it up to 1000FPS, or so says the box, I never chronod it to be sure of this.

    Like my friend says the life drains out of the body faster with bigger holes.

    Agreed here, I just never wanted to fork out 300$ for reloading equip, I would just by another 1000 rounds of ammo. BUT now I know, the price of 1000rounds of 5.56 is almost 500$ today.

    It is hard to find FMJ bullets, the common good rounds are still sold out everywhere since obama was elected, all I can seem to find for cheap brass ammo, the green tipped armor piercing ammo.

    Kinda sucks, I bought my bushy, then did research, found out that the only truly 95% reliable out of the box is a colt or a noveske, but oh well, I got this one running good.
