Who likes cats?
Personally I can not stand house cats. I love wild cats like tigers, lions, panthers, but house cats are so annoying. They seem to be so needy and demanding, and they freaking barf up their hair balls all over the carpet too.
If attacked by a bear, or if I fall into a pool I know my dog would try save me, but I'm 100% certain a cat would do nothing to help, if anything it would help the bear eat me...
I'll get off my soap box now, but I wanted to see how many people actually like cats. I volunteer at a animal shelter and we constantly have no dogs since people adopt them, but we have tons of cats because nobody seems to want to adopt cats.

well, i love wild cats, and have two house cats that actually LOOK like they are wild. they are BENGAL cats.
Part Asian Leopard, part housecat...
I never met a cat with such a human personality as the one I have..... he comes when I call him, has to be in any room I am in, and has crystal blue eyes with a look of a snow leopard.....
LOVE HIM

my dogs hate them, they like to kill the neighbors cats, it's pretty sad actually but there's nothing I can do about it...

You let your dogs kill your neighbours cats? Im sorry but thats pretty messed up.
I don't know what this hate for cats is, they're animals just like dogs. Some of you claim to be animal lovers but exclude cats?? A coupla years back one of my cats came back home in a bad way, his spine was fractured where some ****ing cvnt had kicked him according to the Vet. I even posted the story in here and I was pretty overwhelmed by the support for my cat cause we were seriously wondering if he might have to be put down. We didn't, and even though he's a bit more hard work to look after than the others, I wouldn't have it any other way. I like cats and dogs period, if some of you can't say the same then I really wonder if you do care for animals.

Leave a dead human in a locked room with no way of getting out with a dead cat or dog and I guarantee that the dog would start eating it's former master after about 3 days out of a necessity to survive. I'll go one better, if you find yourself trapped somewhere with no means of getting out and you'll end up eating a dead body after 5 days, whether that body be cat, dog or human. To suggest that animals have some sort of loyality to humans because they are domesticated is absurd. If push came to shove, a domesticated dog would kill and eat a human if it was starving.Last edited by Flagg; 06-23-2009 at 12:25 PM.

Do these dogs and cats and people you're referring to resurrect themselves?

I like pigs as well. They unfortunately get a bad rap as well because people think they are dirty animals. For instance, the rolling around in shit and stuff. Pigs do that because they cant sweat, pigs prefer water to crap but its cheaper for the farmer to give them crap to roll around in.

We always kept cats in our barn to help control barn swallows and rodents. I have met a few indoor cats that I really liked, I just like a dog I can rough house with tho.

No I don't let them kill cats, I try to have the human society trap them first but, my dogs go outside in a fenced yard, I don't watch them non stop, there's nothing i can do when a cat comes into my yard and I'm sleeping. I have to keep my animals in my yard, so should everyone else.
