Sorry but with a dry bottom and a full stomach babies usually do not cry much...

So with that said... Have you checked to see if maybe the baby has an issue that is causing this much crying... First thing to check is your wifes milk satisfying the baby... sometimes it isn't and can cause this type of issue... may need to supplement with a bottle... or she may be eating foods that are upsetting the babies stomach or causing him to have painful gas which would cause him to cry... her diet needs to remain bland for the first few months... Are you both comfortable with the baby or does he sense the fear and discomfort which would make him cry as well...

You stated that you and your wife are having problems as well... that can be enough to stress the baby and keep him crying... children pick up on more than people realize...

Anyway these are a few things to consider and look into as babies usually have a reason for crying...

    .

I wish you good luck with your rest...

I do make things sound worse then they really are it was a stressfull week when posted and your absolutly right he only crys when in need, the longest he will cry is at night time when i have to wake my wife up. I guess i just made myself soud worse of a parent then I am. But he does cry alot.
