Bodybuilding reality show
I think that would be a cool idea for someone to develop Everything else has had a reality show. One with maybe like Cutler or Branch Warren or Something as the Main Character and shows him going all over guest posing and what they are really looking like during the off season, and have it go right into contest prep but every show have a 5-8 minute section of training and Q & A So it would actually be kind of cool you could watch those big MoFo's lift and get all siked before hitting the gym probably would only last a year or 2 but it would be cool to even have a 20 episode run that covered 6 months 3 months of the off season and the 12 weeks leadon gup to the Olympia or The Arnold or Even the Pro Open

i would watch it for sure. i dont know if they would do it, i feel like there would be a bunch of dipshit critics writing up a bunch of crap on how stupid they look or some uneducated bs. might be more trouble than its worth. but... i'd watch it!

yeh but christ they give Kendra Wilkinson Her own Show, and the Kardashians, and Denise Richards and Etc Etc. There is a pretty big Following of BB and maybe just maybe it could help the sport! Especially if they gave some good exercise and nutrition tips in it weekly!

I thought of that, you could call the series "The Biggest Gainer"
-

great idea but i reckon a show called
The Biggest Gainer would be cool , like the biggest loser but opposite , it would have like trey brewer or branch warren or one of the big fellas , they get a house full of 12 contestants and they have a year to mould these skinny little biotches into mountains of muscles , they would have every supp known to man at there fingertips , a personal dietician and the best food available...each month someone gets voted off and the winner would get a sponsership by BSN or GASPARI or something like that and a big cash prise ...what do yas reckon ?

That would be a blessing to the sport...
LOOK WHAT THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER did for MMA....
Anyone hear have ties to Hollywood?? Come on I know someone here does.. this community is HUGE you are going to tell me that not one person here knows a writer, or producer, or director, or ANYONE in the Biz?? Yah right...
Lets get this going !!! Obviously they would have to leave out the fact of the use of AAS because all the kids would think it would be ok to use them to get big but everything else would be very very very educational.. especially nutrition, training, and posing tips...

I have been to hollywood but I do no think that is going to help anything LOL

as great as it sounds, it would be a mess. keep in mind that all the people on the show will be on heavy AAS, which is illegal here in USA, and looked at like public enemy #1 in media here.
someone on the show will break there confidentiality agreement and let all the dirty secrets of BB which will set the sport back by years with govern. regulation.
great idea, however not one that will fly here in the states.....

Not exactly what the op wanted, but Lee Priest had his own little experimental "series" for a couple seasons a while back. The expensive dvds kept me from checking it out though.

Why o you say that? have you ever seen any of Jay Cutlers Videos? He in a way does it in his videos and they are here in the US and no problem Just would be something that had a bunch of weeks in a row instead of his which go from one day to 6 weeks later to 3 months later

jay cutler sells dvd bro...he is not doing a reality show on national t.v......which inturn has advertisers, and the public eye...
i dont want congress looking into steroids anymore then they are, and a show like that would have every jerkoff kid hitting juice before they have a clue...
there is a huge difference bro...

I would imagine a reality show following a pro bodybuilder around would consist of nothing but watching him eat and lift. That wouldn't appeal to many people

It's a great idea but AAS is where the problems would be.

I think it could do a lot for the sport. It would show that they do not spen 12 hours a day in the gym like a lot of people think they do! It could also show rookies and NOOB's the correct way to do exercises and the correct exercises to do! It would also show that they are normal people just 3 X as big

I would love to be on that show. Better hurry up since I got about good four strong years left. They'll definitely have some interesting characters on that joint. But yes, one major negative includes advertisement boost for aas use which will cause a controversy. haha, what else is new

They don't have to show it or talk about it...critics and the media would. It would bring massive amounts of scrutiny and attention to our little world, which would most certainly be a bad thing.
Someone mentioned Real Ultimate Fighter...notice how now every 20 something male is an MMA fighter? Well...imagine if it had the same effect, except everyone was on gear. Bad news. People are sheep. Society is consumer driven. A show like this would most certainly have far reaching, negative effects.

I agree with the girl, any publicity for Body Building would only cause the sport to be placed under the microscope, and in doing that, AAS would be more closely associated with the sport.
The media, parents and to be quite honest, even myself would think it would be bad for every kid to want to be a body builder. Too many kids would abuse the use of chemicals.
If they were available under a doctors supervision, it might not be a problem. But kids would be buying chemicals mixed in bath tubs, from their friends, it would make things worse than they already are.
Body building and power lifting, are best off if they avoid the lime light.
