BTW, Sugar Shane had the penthouse next to ours! That was kind of cool too.

I dont understand why ppl dont like him, they said after the fight that hes not one to promote or start shit before fights, that he just goes in does his thing and leaves. Then everyone was booing him.

I think people just dont like him cause hes a badass which is lame.

Dude is a beast no doubt, but he lost me when he jumped on heath herrings back and acted like he was on a horse at the end of the fight. What a dick. He would have lost that fight if heath had 30 more pounds. Brock laid on him sooo much that the wieghts was the deciding factor.

He's built like a pit bull, and his personality isn't just a fasade, he's just naturally an ill spoken guy.

It's not a bad thing that he knows his advantages are going to be ground fighting because of his weight, you use what you got...there's nothing wrong with that.

yeah but there is no technique invovled or maybe skill is a better word. There is no wieght class for him, and he is SO much bigger that it isn't repsecatble to lay on a guy until the extra wieght becomes an unfair advantage. The repectable thing to do would be to use the talent he has to fight. JMHO

IDK it's hard to say, I've seen plenty of other fighters who go for the ground as much as they can because that's what they are good at and they know it's their advantage....he's a true big ass heavy weight that is for sure...do i think that big of a weight difference is a fair fight...no not at all but thats the way it works

Have you ever seen his interviews or his fights before? Joe Rogan is a complete idiot for saying Brock doesnt talk shit. He is the biggest shit talker in the god damned UFC. He wouldnt touch gloves with Mir, even after he won he wasnt humble, he went and talked more shit to Mir and then put his middle fingers up to the crowd...

I think its pretty obvious why people don't like him. And he even appologized at the post fight conference and said he acted inappropriately. So people dont hate him because he's "bad ass" they hate him because he is an arrogant asshole who has no respect for anyone, including the organization which pays him to fight.

No I had no idea. I've never seen this guy fight before in my life so I was just basing it on what Rogan said post fight. We had a bunch of people over and when I asked "why the hell does everyone hate this guy" people were just saying shit like "hes an asshole" but noone really explained why.

Describing him that way does make him look like an egotistical fvck. And I cant think of one time I've seen a pro fighter insult the people sponsoring the event so yeh... not cool.
But then again these guys aren't trained to practice proper etiquette so who knows..

Brock got a little etiquette training that night by Dana! He said it in his post fight interview I just watched it on the net and he said Dana came back there and chewed his ass. I remember saying to my friends, look that is wierd Dana is leaving before the fights are over. Now I wonder if he was mad and went straight back to the locker room.

Well ya, you're right there...who knows what they are gonna say and what if any is actually played out almost like WWE. It always seems like there is bad blood before fights to hype them up then after they always hug and become friends. So some of it is for the fans and GSP even admitted that with the whole grudge with Serra after the fight.
