Anyone live in Lee County FL?

Im looking into buying a house in Lehigh, Cape Coral, or Ft. Myers. Anyone have any insight into anything i should know? Large section 8 pop? high crime? employment opportunities for tenants? rental market? etc...

Any info anyone has would be awesome. Thanks,

Lehigh is pretty much abandoned. Rows and rows of empty houses. That whole side of Fl isn't doing so well until you get up to Tampa. I'd steer clear unless you're just looking for an investment opportunity in the long-term.

Thats the thing man...at least in Lehigh...there's no one to rent it. I shit you not, last time I was there...people were giving houses away. No joke.

My ex' dad has some properties there and he's stuck...no one to rent or sell to.

LOL. Tell me where buddy. I lived in Duval County for years. Tell me ONE year in which the crime rate declined.

Try Sarasota. It is an incredible place. You can get a four bedroom house with 1500sq ft for about $190,000
