So water, in its solid form, is bad for human health? Now i've heard everything!
Lets forget that it's actually the alcohol and coke that is destroying our liver and teeth.... :P

Actually, yeah iced water will shock the hydrochloric acid in your stomach, and make digestive enzymes less effective. I've switched to drinking room temp. water only, and usually don't consume large amounts with a meal, as to eschew indigestion.

Room temp water quenches your thirst faster also but you body burns more calories drinking ice water since it has to warm the water before using it.

I think that drinking something with ice is less bad for your health than chewing ice blocks with your teeth.
Many people always chew all over left ice in their cup.

there was a study done years ago that you will never hear about. the government spent i don't know how many hundreds of thousands of dollars studying the effects saliva has on health. in the end, they realized that saliva is carcinogenic, but only in small amounts over long periods of time.

and the other point is that ice IS bad for your health. No doubt. There is a certain critical mass, say two kilos. Getting hit in the head with a block that big can't be good.

and with a life time of patiently showing your woman the right way, you know... all the way down, don't gag....
.... it could prevent future problems with the throat constricting.
you know, some older people that have trouble swallowing have to go get their throats stretched.
