everyone here expects certain members to be monsters, when in reality, they are not. just regular guys that have been in the gym for many years, off and on, like me. Compared to the average population, we look pretty good. But compared amongst ourselves, there are only so many "monsters"....

....so let's think about this. my city has 60k people in it. my gym may have 5 of what I call monsters. There are three gyms in town. so just say we have 15 monsters. that would represent a ratio of 1 monster for every 4000 people. In fact, i suspect that one of the gyms doesn't have but maybe one or two, and the other one may have the 5, not sure. So the ratio could really jump to 1 in 6 or 7 thousand people easily.

so most of us are not monsters, but hobbyists which represent a "work in process".
Some of more work to do, like me! =)
....others less work to do.

but yeah, i think we'd have a good time.

I have been lucky enough to meet up with a couple of members including Fireguy and his wife. Good people. I went to one of their competitions. I have meet a couple others also and I am sure I will meet up with more eventually.

We have a pretty good group of people here for sure and very diverse keeping the place interesting.
