Not re-racking weights is some of the worst things I know. I can not even describe how much it pisses me off especially if I get there early in the morning and I got to start by chasing weights down. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh……
Thanks

I got into it once with a fella that asked for a spot on the incline DB press. He dropped the weights and walked away. Never said thanks, never re racked. So I called him out and he didn't like it. Mumbling "Whatever dude..." as he walked away. I followed him out of the building and told him exactly what I think of him. Kept walking away like a little girl.
I can't stand people who don't rerack their shit. But I never usually say anything, this guy just pushed my buttons, as if it was an honor to spot him or something. He was at least 30 lbs heavier than me. Would have been fun to see him walk in the next day with his mouth wired shut by an oral surgeon.~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

I'm a believer in re-racking weights, lots of people dont and teenagers are usually the worst offenders.
Unfortunately I train with someone who has a bit of a shitty outlook in this respect, believing that our membership is paying for a service and it is down to the staff to re-rack stuff and without our membership money they wouldn't have a job.

That, and yes were paying for a service but I've done the math on estimated membership numbers * cost and it usually barely covers overhead. I am not interested in paying $120 a month just for the privilege of having someone else clean up after my lazy ass. Seriously, you are at a gym... Is it too much to ask someone who's there for the sole purpose of lifting weight to lift them back to the spot they came from? Lol. A lot of people are slobs though so it doesn't surprise me at all. Their houses are probably just as messy.

How do you guys feel about towels and wiping up after. Worst when u go to use a bench and theres a puddle of sweat on it.
I always bring a towel especially wiping where my head rest...but I even go as far as wiping the bar down.

I love my home gym. Use to train at a local place and lost it....I'm very OCD about my training and staying focused. I want to get in and out as quickly as possible. Not run shit down and deal with some assholes doing dumb shit in the squat rack. Drop $1500 on squat rack, bench, dip bar, lots of weights and accessory stuff. Best investment for myself in that aspect.
