Lol.....she'll stick out like a sore thumb and won't understand more than half of what anyone says. She'll likely enjoy the pubs, Guinness brewery, and the Jameson distillery. I might even get her to share a few plates of Boxty from Gallagher's

Jaysus MI, you have been over a lot , get out of Dublin and travel around man. Dublin is a great place but like all capitals it kinda looses the originalness of the rest of the country due to the sheer influx of people from all over the world not that is a bad thing but there is so many other places to go to than dublin.

Crazy mountain ranges over here and such like. Get out to west cork, kerry, mayo and galway would be my raccomendations

Actually, been up and down the East side of the country but not the West. My family is from Belfast so I spent a lot of time up north in Belfast, (London) Derry, and the shores of the Antrim coast. Was as far down as Waterford.

I need to get back and visit the West side as I hear it is much more scenic. I'm sure my wife won't enjoy the country side as much as the bigger cities - she likes to shop and party more than travel the country side but she'll have to endure it.

Off to Germany in a few weeks for the first time. That will be a big culture shock for HAW. She's never been anywhere in Europe.

Where in Germany I've driven across Europe its a great place and Germany was the highlight.

The West coast is way nicer than the east as it has the atlantic battering away at it for centuries and people are a bit mad over there too lol must be the water lol

She'll love the west coast its one of the best places ever to go partying nothing like you will experience anywere else in the world and I would regard myself well travelled

Flying in to Berlin (Tegel airport). I'm there for work mostly but I'll have about 4 days to play. My wife has family there. They've been to the US often so she knows them well but she's never been anywhere in Europe (I've promised to take her to Paris eventually - I was there in 1999). My wife will have 10 days to enjoy Germany.

Yes I definitely want to visit the West side of Ireland and Scotland as well.

Looking forward to Germany. My first time. Can't speak any German but I'm sure that won't be too much of a problem in big populated cities.

German is easy enough its just a bastardisation of english once you learn a few words and try to speak their language they will speak more readily in english if you make a mess of german lol

Same can be said for most europeans countries.
