    Lidocaine patches

I'm being treated for back problems and my dr gave me lidocaine patches. Since I've started taking them my eyes burn to the point where they tear up . I'm not putting them on myself so chemical transfer via hand to eye isn't a thought.

Any thoughts ? It's not listed under side effects ( link provided ) * not selling or spam *

Never dealt with transdermal lidocaine, but neither Lidocaine or Marcaine injections give me any reaction like that.

I’ve used “Flector patches” with some success. Guessing maybe an allergy to an inactive ingredient?

Could try taking fexofinidine (Allegra) or Zyrtec and see if that helps, maybe try an OTC artificial tear as well (systane) and see if it staves off the burning.

    No other guesses...
