prolonged deca use...

Deca being a mild steroid , can it be ran longer than normal? How long? Im currently running 750 mg deca/wk and 1cc test susp/prop 200mg/ml eod.

Thats a lot of deca your hpta is probably shut down completely. I wouldn't run it too long, pct will be hell

You may be a lucky fellow. Most people wont run deca above 600, I wont go over 400. Going for 2 much longer wont be good in my opinion.

Yeah, but the testicular axis can always be started up again no matter how long it has been shut down, right?

Most likely, but it could take a long time, It wouldn't be fun popping viagra everytime you want to get laid for 2 years.

Absolutely wrong. You can shut it down for good. Why do you think so many BBers are on HRT for life.

I personally know a coupla buddies who were on for a good yr and a half or close to 2 yrs and after one had stopped ( to get his g/f pregnant) it took him 6-7 months to knock her up!!! They're on year round and the basic cycle most always include deca (800+/wk) unless they're get ready for comps!! There have also been NO long term clinical studies to see wheather a person stays shut down for good!

Right, as there are no long term clinical studies of ASS usage. Everybody is different. There absolutely is risk of permanent HPTA damage with over usage. To ignore that is foolish, but hey, it's your bod.

Like i said there is NO clinical studies showing a person stays shut down permanantly!!

Some countries give rapist deca over a 48 week period and its essentially chemical castration... leave that 36 week cycle with no sex drive ever again... rapist is now safe for society as he has no desire for sex...

Deca is *NOT* a "mild" steroid

and 750 *IS* a lot.

You seem to have your mind made upabout your dosage. You are just not gonna get any consensus here about 750 being a safe dosage - especially for prolonged periods of time.

Its a bad idea and there are more siders than HTPA shuts.

Deca is NOT a mild steroid . In fact, its proven to shut down htpa harder than most steroids . I wouldn't go past the 12 week mark, esp. at 750 mgs a wk.

I agree Deca IS NOT a mild steroid ........... It's one of the hardes on HPTA and has been known to make some users go into a depression after use because of the hard shutdown.

Dude r u aking us or telling us??? If ur asking us we just told u and yes deca will shut u down and depending on the person it could be for a long time..

Its up to u but i dont think its worth it. If u run it at the same dose for a really long period of time its not gonna be hitting u as hard anymore. Id say take a break see how everything is and if u want go back..
