Getting Dissed By Mods and Vets!

I have been trying to get some confirmation on a research site and have PM'ed a couple of Mods and Vets to check it out. So far they have just ignored my question, am I missing something and breaking a rule? In the past I have been able to verify sources with them and been given good info, not sure what has changed, anyone else have this problem?

it took the mods a while to answer me back, for "research sites". for source checks,there quick though.

Not all the Mods/Vets use the Internet to fill thier scripts brah... me for one... and most are reluctant to answer such questions from new members due to the safety of the person in question... If you posted here more - you might find your PM's get answered quicker...

There should be a setting in the usercp on whether a member chooses to be contacted for source checks or not...

I have been around for almost a year mostly reading and trying to learn my stuff, so I am not a new member. I only send them questions when I see they are up on the board at that time.I have gotten great info on sources and this is just a research co that I have seen as a sponser on other sites.

if anyone needs to source check a research site, i'm fine receiving PMs regarding them as well.

the Mods/Vets here at AR get literally dozens of Pms everyday for a myriad of things, just give it some time. sometimes i've had to wait a week for a reply.

that doesn't mean that they dont care, or are blowing you off, it just means that they are busy and will get to your check as soon as they can. trust me, they have their hands full...

Thats cool man... I see you have been here awhile, but you know what I am gettin' at... you never know who is contacting you - especially members you don't remember from the board. There may be a few threads in the db concerning research sites. You can also post an acronym here (for research sites)... like, "Any current info on RK?" And get quite a few responses...

they usually get to you when they can, but dont be blatant with your asking of info, keep it simple. like anyone else these guys are busy as well. good luck hope you got the info you were looking for.

Guys we don't know everything that is out there, if it's a source you need to do the leg work. Check out his/her refs once you've done that pm us to see if we know the refs or the source. But there are new sources coming out every day it seems and with thoise new scammers too. So if they don't have legit refs stay away, if you found them doing an internet seach stay away, they're that easy to find so they can take your money.

Mods are here to help not do the work for you, so help us help you by doing the leg work first.

I agree....... Another thing we all have lives outside of AR, famillies, careers, and just things going....... I've been busy at work, moving to my new house, and doing things outside because it's nice.

I was one of the people you PM'ed and I told you I never used that company but did know they were legit.

I know it gets frustrating waiting but sometimes that just what you have to do....... Wait or don't and chance getting ripped off.

Hey mud, ya I got your info. I'm just paranoid about being ripped off so I have tried to get a mix of peoples knowledge since it is a new co. I completely understand that your lives don't revolve around answering PMs so I try to only ask questions when I see that person is currently on the board.

The post started because I wasn't sure if somehow I had pissed people off and that was the reason for not being replied to.
