Question relating to gear
hey guys,
i got a parcel today from america, only some dvds i won on ebay, so nothing amazing/to worry about...but the parcel was opened by customs and re-sealed and sent to me as it wasnt dodgy
however, i was wondering, now that they opened one of my parcels does this mean all my **** will get opened? like am i on their list and when they see my name/address they always check or as it was nothing bad am i ok?
just dont fancy getting gear from abroad until i know more:|

I dunno how things are done in Canada. But in the Us they do random parcel checks, so if thats what it was the chances of them checking another of your packages is slim. But the in the US they do flag addys. So be careful.

Now, I live in Canada, but why would they flay an addy for a clean package? With random checks, I would think they would have quite a list? Is that what happens in the US?

If you are in the UK you shouldn't have to order from the states. There are 3 well known sources in Britain I can think of.

map--- i didn't know that you were from the UK...you're better off going with someone from the UK... there are a few sources over on the island that i'd love to use if they were domestic US... actually, you're lucky to be there. shoot me an email.

It's random. I had cuban cigars shipped in from the caymans. Customs nabbed them. Got a letter and ignored it. Reordered from same source and recieved in perfect condition. Hence no name or address on a "list". Although I'm talking only cigars and not illegal drugs. I wouldn't worry.
