Clen + Cardio
Now I read somewhere on this board that I should take my clen about 30 minutes before I do my cardio. My question is regarding my heart rate. I really dont want my heartrate above 139bps because then I will be burning muscle. I want to stay in my fat burning zone. The problem is that I find my heart rate at like 135ish as soon as I am on the cardio machine for 2 minutes. I have to go real slow to keep my HR down...is this normal or should I wait longer before I do my cardio?? Does it even matter as long as my HR is in the 130s for 30-45 minutes??
Sorry for all the questions but I am very curious, thanks.

i would wait til after cardio to take the clen . And its hard to believe that your hr is that high after 2 minutes. Are you using a heart rate monitor?

yeah I use the monitor on the elliptical machine...I dont know how accurate that thing is but its weird that my HR gets that high that fast. You think I should get a HR monitor seperately??

the heart rate monitors on the machines are not accurate all at really from my experiences. i used the elliptical with a real monitor on and used the one on the machine also at the same time. they came back with about a 15 BPM difference

Are you using pulse grips, or a chest strap. There is a very big difference in the two. A chest strap, providing there is no electrical interference (which there shouldn't be as long as you are not on your wireless phone or within 6 ft. of an electrical box), is 99.8% accurate once you start sweating. The pulse grips are 70% accurate, if they register at all. Make sure you are using a chest strap, whether it is on your machine or with a seperate watch.
