    mail question

    I had a friend send me a package priority usps monday about 4:00pm
    from Alabama to Tampa Fl. its now thursday night and still isn't here,
    did it get siezed? Ive never had any issues on domestic packages
    and this guy is a close friend so I know it was sent unfortunately he did not get a conf# anyone got any insight on this

    maybe its caught up or moving slow, customs didn't seize it for sure, unless someone is watching you or the other guy, not trying make you paranoid, just a suggestion, are you sure it was priority?

    It it's usps priority. There should be some sort of tracking #.
    THEY give you one when you mail something.
    Ask him for it.
    Goto to usps.com and enter the tracking # to see where it is.

    i sent a package a few days ago priority, and they said it would be there in a few days, but i had to ask for delivery conformation, unless you got like express, and that gives you tracking, signature, and delivery confirmation, etc...

    See his first post. It says he didn't get the tracking number. And when I mail priority mail you have to request a tracking number.

    about how long does it take for the tracking number to work on the website. somthing was mailed to me and its probably been about half a day maybe not that. i went to enter the tracking number and it said it wasnt found. Probably just hasnt got in the process yet.

    Priority is no better than regular mail IMO, the only difference is you get a tracking number

    I gave him the money myself to send it to before I left Birmingham
    Im hoping because he didn't get it there till 4 monday that it may show up tommorw I just starting to get anxious because he was supposed to send it Friday and I havent had a shot in 10 days.He cant find any reciept from the post office so no tracking #

    Oh yeah, you missed the shipment that day. It probably went out the next day meaning it will be there tomorrow at the latest.

    thats no good, because thats what you need to track it...i guess it may be possible to call the post office and ask if they still have the recite so they could tell you the tracking again
