Latest word on Evocash
I know some bros, myself included, have some money at stake here with evocash so I thought I would post up the default message on x-changers.com (company the deals exchanges money with evo). To me it almost sounds like you may be able to access the site at random times due to the nature of this "attack" to allocate funds elsewhere, but maybe that is just wishful thinking in the meantime.
Thank you for visiting X-Changers today. We are sorry to report that the Evocash website is currently experiencing an illegal DOS attack which is aimed at removing service from all Evocash clients. A DOS attack is a type of hacking during which a web server is flooded with large volumes of garbage material in an attempt to steal away internet resources from legitimate web site users attempting to visit the attacked web site.
The www.evocash.com website has NOT been removed or closed. Actually, the website is running normally without any problems or difficulty in any way. However, all of the available links for clients to access the website are being used by the hacker. This is why nearly all clients are unable to visit the website. It makes sense to simply open up additional lines of communication, but that does not work. In that case, the hacker simply sends more internet pollution which will quickly eat up all of the new bandwidth as the legitimate Evocash clients log off.
The temporary disruption in service is from an illegal attack which is being fixed through technical means in the short term and in conjunction with the appropriate law enforcement agencies in the long term. You will be able to visit the www.evocash.com website when Evocash has filtered out all of the extraneous internet pollution that is currently accessing the website. Presumably, this attack is related to recent actions concerning the unresolved legal status of a company which uses Evocash called Freeland Opps (FLO). The Evocash proposed resolution to this matter is very fair and reasonable. Instead of working with Evocash to resolve the matter, FLO has chosen to use questionable methods to resolve this matter, such as unproductive comments on forums and various message boards or the current illegal DOS attack (which may or may not be directly related to FLO). In fact just a few days ago on the TalkGold forum, it was suggested that someone should do a Ddos attack on the Evocash site with a post that followed saying this could be arranged. We feel that the nature of the comments issued by FLO and, of course the attack currently underway against Evocash, reflect extremely poorly on FLO and any merit they feel they have in their disagreement with Evocash, and most likely indicate that all actions performed by Evocash to date have been correct in our opinion.
It should be clearly stated that this is a form of terrorism. Unless the funds are illegally released, this attack will presumably not stop. Evocash has expressed their apologies to us about the extreme inconvenience this is causing all of their clients. However, they also state this is unavoidable as it is not possible to be swayed by this type of extortion. Allowing this type of extortion to succeed will result in a great deal of future client inconveniences. Instead, no accommodations will be made to those responsible for the temporary inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding of this matter. We appreciate your patience while Evocash is aggressively working on this problem to have their website up again soon.

I had a thread in the lounge about Evocash and having money stuck in thier bull****. I did find it kinda funny how they bust out with the term "terrorism". 5 years ago they would have never said that. I guess its cash though the mail until this **** is over. Good luck everyone.

so evocash is up? it would be idiotic to get on evocash while they are under attack because you are posting your IP address in evocash.com and the hackers can then get your IP address and get your account numbers. so stay away from anything evocash when it is under attack.. i hope yall a good firewall, anti-virus, and spy destroyer, or else you are risking loosing all your evocash money.

you all realize anyone can get your physical address off of this website as well? with the right programs you can access anyones IP address and find there exact location, or at least get close. with the right hacker programs you can then get into peoples computers with thier IP address. so it wouldnt be smart posting any incriminating evidence anywhere on the net because you are leaving a return address everywhere you go. my best friends kid was searching on how to make a bomb, and a few days later the FBI was knocking on their door and taking all of their computer equipment, my friend was arrested but soon let out because the kid was 8.

If you apply that same idea to using your computer then theorectically anyone can get my credit card number when I order protein, they can get my bank routing number when I pay with paypal, and they can get my shipping info when I order supplements. What do you expect people to do live in a f*cking box? Besides do you think you would want your money sitting in your account just taking up space and time or would you take the risk of being "hacked" and move the cash out? I know it would be the latter. You really are making a deal out of nothing. Enough of the conspiracy theory already! If someone wants your information they will get it. There isnt sh*t you or I will do about it.

with an ip address, all you can find is the location of the isp, and unless you know someone who works there, you cant find someones physical address.
These people make me laugh who say "can you get me his ip address, ill find out where he lives" and people who post nonsense like the above scaring the members for no reason at all. What you said is complete and utter garbage, please learn a thing or two before you come on here posting missinformation or people like me have to spend our hard earned time putting it right

thats only half you can get off of a personal firewall. thats the info for this web page. phone numbers to the server holder and all.
all you would have to do is hack into their sever with that info. or trick your tech name and have him tell you.
and yes i edited it.

Feds could get the info if they really wanted it... Evocash is based
In Panama and they will give up your info in a second down there if
the Feds pushed for it, trust me... But you would have to give the
Feds a reason to do all that...

okay guys i found out why xchangers crap isnt workin or gettin funded with money orders.. here is what i was told..
Dear Customer,
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but as of
Wednesday, October 13th, we are taking our service to and from Evocash
offline. This was a difficult decision to make, but one that we are
making now as we feel it is in our best interests.
We have provided service to and from Evocash for several years now and we
have been extremely grateful for the opportunity and service that we have
provided for Evocash and their account holders. This decision is in no
way intended to reflect poorly on the services offered by Evocash nor on
the quality of their service, but rather it is a decision that was made
and is influenced by a number of determining factors.
The current climate of the e-currency markets and the recent closure of a
number of exchange providers notwithstanding, some significant issues
between X-Changers and Evocash currently stand as unresolved. Until such
time as these problems have been resolved in a manner satisfactory to us,
we must indefinitely suspend our exchange services to and from the Evocash
payment system. Our site has been modified to reflect these changes. The
e-currency order form used for payment by check or money order has been
temporarily removed from our site until such time as we have made fully
aware to our customers this decision. As for future E-Gold, INTGold, or
VirtualGold orders via check or money order, the form, mailing and payment
instructions will be returned to our site next Monday, October 18th. We’d
like to take this opportunity to remind you that if you wish to send
payment in this manner (via check), then we ask that you make sure to go
through our website ONLY to obtain this form and these instructions.
We sincerely apologize to any Evocash customer that this inconveniences,
but unfortunately due to the volume of business that we have done with
Evocash to this point, there is no right time to make this announcement—it
will invariably affect some of you, and for this we are deeply sorry.
ANY payment received for an Evocash purchase ON OR AFTER October 13th via
ANY method, formerly offered through our site, will be returned.
Since the reasons for this decision are of a business to business nature,
we ask that you spare us your queries on this matter, as these issues
exist between our two companies, X-changers and Evocash, and our two
companies alone. Any such discussion of these matters with those
uninvolved is not only disrespectful and potentially unethical, but easily
misconstrued. This is a disagreement between two companies—not a
condemnation of one company by another—we ask that you respect this
decision and our privacy in this matter.

Bro, do you really think that would be enuf if they wanted you???
It wouldn't be and plus there'd be a trail of where your money was
being sent and maybe they didn't do the same as you to try and
cover up ****... I know from one bro that is into this **** bigtime
that one guys info was given out by evocash last year... And yeah
he had a fake name too, but they still have ways of finding you...
