I hope this is not inappropriate, but...

How high is the failure rate on shipments from Thailand to the USA?

I have a friend who wants to send some gear (a mix of 1ml amps and some tabs) from Bangkok to the USA and I told him to forget it--I heard it was a pretty high risk for seizure. (I also told him just to give it to me and I would use it well--no such luck)

I researched past posts on overseas shipping and things seemed pretty grim--especially inlight ot 9-11; however that is not indication of what the situation is today.

Anybody have any experiences getting stuff seized or packages making it through? Let's see if we can get a consensus.
