    Signs of an abcess?

    Post injection, shoulder is hurtin. Its swollen and feels like I have a knot in it. Its real tight too. What are the signs of an abcess. No humor please.

    Things to know, I was deep enough into the muscle. Using a 1" pin 3 9/10's into the delt. It's not "hot". Its a knot and is sore as H3LL. Could it just be oil buildup?

    try hot compress and message to get the oil dissapated.
