thats what I thought around 7-10mgs a day, that why I was asking about what the range means.

10mg's a day is extremely high. 7mg is the top range of normal.

Well you have to subtract the ester weight. Between 15-30% of the dose that your injecting is the weight of the ester.

I've never heard of that before. Do you have any evidence to back up what you just said?

For esters like cypionate /ethnate with high partition coefficients they don't spend much time in the blood stream in an esterfied state. So I'm not sure if they would be broken down at the rate you're suggesting.

I dont have the email anymore but I had a HRT/TRT doc write me a message to that tune. It basically confirmed what you said about the ester weight itself but along with it, about 3 to 5% simply breaks down before it finds its way out of the muscle you injected it into. So the 150 mg a week test cypionate is roughly equal to 80 mg of natural production. I think this was his basis for starting most of his TRT patients at about 150 mg a week and then do blood tests to see where blood levels are going.
