Just got a call from the post office bout a package thats been sitting in customs for two weeks. He said that they wanted to call to see if it was ok to deliver. I laughed when i heard it cause its probably gonna be a controlled del. but just want to see what you guys think.

No shlt. Why would they ask. Isnt it obvious that since it is in the post office, it should be sent to the address.
Uh no, I just like sending shlt to the post office so they can keep my stuff.

If it went through customs, Im assuming it was over seas. Id cut your losses and save a possible trip to jail. Tell them NO you dont want it and you never ordered anything.

Ask where the package came from. Let him know you are expecting one from Calif and that is the ONLY ONE. Also, if you feel it is suspicious, let him know you have been getting a lot of packages that dont belong to you.

    I dont know....

I wouldn't let them know I was expecting a package from anywhere......... I have never recieved a phone call from the post office. Cut your losses and act like you have no clue what was sent. I would rather loss some cash then all the possible problems a controlled delivery would cause. Also, since the Patriot Act has been in place I think they already know what's in the package because they can open any suspecious packages.

Cut your losses, my man. The cash you lose by dening everything will pale in comparison to jail time. Let it go, not worth it....

Play it safe bro and cut your loses. Sounds like you are f'd and it is going to be a controled delivery of some sort. Watch your back for a while also and you may want to think about cleaning house and cleaning up the computer real quick. Odds are your address (wherever the package was being sent to) is now being red flaged and you should watch your ass.

It aint worth a few bottles to get ur as$ thrown in jail over.

post office would never call, they just schedule a delivery and if you are not home they leave a yellow slip at your door telling you to pick up the package at the PO.

Maybe im just an idiot . But if it were me id say **** yea ship it to me......but id say i wasnt expecting anything either . So if theres somthing in there controlled.....id say i dint order this ****.

but i was under the inpression if somthing did gewt flagged by customs , there gonna open it.....and there not gonna call and "ask if you want it" . there gonna send you a seizure slip . How can anyone prove you actually ordered it and are not being set up or somthing.

Then again , if your talking enough gear that your actually selling the **** , i might be worried . But id want my **** even more then .lol

I've had the PO call saying I had a priority package (they left the message on the answering machine)....said they didn't have enough people to run the priority mail..I didn't go pick it up, they brought it out the next day...BUT..i've never had the PO call asking for a convenient time to make a delivery.... ...

I would tell them that I wasn't expecting anything, but heck if it is addressed to me go ahead and deliver it. May be a present from an old friend.

Out of curiousity what did you say?

A good lawyer is very expensive and will cost you many times the cost of the gear you are losing (presumably).

That's a little like the doctor walking out into the waiting room and asking,
"Do you guys want me to examine you ?"

The patients would think somethings wrong.....and you should too.

id go for it....Tell them to goahead and deliver it,..just dont sign anything. after you get it,..dont open it for awhile. If they will deliver it,..go for it. Its Christmas and you're recieving gifts from relatives so thats what you expect it to be. id get it now, stick under the Xmas tree and leave it there. that way if they bust your door down, its still in the package and you thought a relative sent it for the holidays so you stuck under your tree and planned to open it on Xmas day. JUST DONT SIGN ANYTHING. If you get knocked,.you also have a good case of entrapment!,..you could do this or just call you guy and have him reship you a new package,..which is probably the smartest thing to do....
