For everyone asking about Drug testing
Hey guys.. I have been researching about drug testing b/c i am going for a test myself for a company.. I figured this would help other out too considering there are always a million posts about it.. Well here u go. Hope this eases everyone's minds...
Steroid Drug Test
A steroid drug test is either done via a urine drug test or by collecting a blood sample for in depth analysis. A saliva or oral drug test is not the best way to handle steroid drug testing due to poor secretion of metabolites by sebaceous glands. In addition, there are no instant home drug test kits that will determine whether or not someone passed a steroid drug test. No matter whether it is a urine drug test or a blood drug test, the drug testing laboratories have to use sophisticated drug testing analysis to detect steroid metabolites.
Some of the more sophisticated drug test laboratories don't even bother with testing for a broad spectrum of anabolic steroid metabolites. Instead, they simply test a person's epitestosterone to testosterone ratio. Basically, the level of epitestosterone indicates how much testosterone is flowing through the body. A ratio of 6 to 1 is normal. If someone starts using steroids , their testosterone levels raise quite dramatically, and epitestosterone levels will also rise. However, when it comes to the elite athletic level of sports, some athletes are allegedly injecting epitestosterone in an attempt to change the test results, or even resort to other more extreme measures to alter their blood chemistry for athletic success.
Steroids can remain detectable in the body anywhere from 1 week to over a year after use. As for the most popular substances like nandrolone (deca , testosterone), they can be detected in the body for about one year. With injected testosterone, a 3 to 6 month detection period is common. Most steroid users get away with it because the cost of a steroid drug test is very high, and is not often performed outside of the sports field. 99% of the time, if you are being tested for drugs, steroids are not included in the drug panel.
The exception to this rule is with college and professional sports organizations. They will perform random drug tests that include a steroid drug test. If you're an athlete and get tested for any steroid compounds, one might be able to use an anabolic steroid and possibly beat the cutoff levels. The human body naturally produces testosterone (which is a steroid), and small amounts of testosterone will automatically show up in urine. Some athletes manage to keep their steroid intake low enough to indicate a natural level of steroids. Studies have been performed that found 67% of steroid users take more than the recommended amount, plus they "stack" (meaning they take two or more different kinds of steroids). This is not recommended because steroids are meant to be used only in small amounts. Any amount over a normal dose goes unused, plus no study has shown stacking to be beneficial.
According to various reports prepared by known steroid experts, it is possible to pass a steroid drug test. The theory behind successfully passing a steroid drug test revolves around the management of anabolic steroid metabolites. Cycling the steroid stack with use of certain anabolic steroids that have short half-lives may control steroid metabolites, meaning their detection time in the body is extremely short. Additionally, choosing to use anabolic steroids in small amounts may keep the metabolite levels below the cutoff levels used in a steroid drug test.

you mean well, but some of your info is out of date or just flat out inaccurate.

and BTW - look at the stickies - a company has just invented a method of beating the tests that makes everything else obsolete
