accutane?

does anyone know how many days it takes to get that general dry skin feelin associated with accutane? also if I finish an accutane cycle (6 months) then go on Juice, will I get any acne? Thanks!

It all depends on dosage and sensitivity. Some people have mild sides, some have almost none, and some literally peel until they bleed. Some people never get acne again after accutane.. some get it after only a few months.

How long does it usually take start working? Is it bad on your skin when you shave?

i've never used it but most people see results (fewer cysts) after around 4-6 weeks. Before then, it tends to get a little worse before it gets better. i'd expect your skin to start drying out in a week or less.

shaving shouldn't be a problem as it exfoliates... but make sure you get a kick ass moisturizer. One of my good friends used aveeno with oatmeal when he was on accutane, and said that it worked well.

I had a skin doctor give it to me. I had bad acne until I was 22. It side are pretty bad, chap lips, you look tired. But well worth it because the acne never came back. The only thing is if you don;t have a drug plan it crazy expensive.

Are you going to be running any 17aas in your cycle? I ask b/c accutane is hard on your organs.... The doctor made me get blood work every month. That crap is effective!

accutane works well, not sure if it was worth it though. i peeled my lips off every morning, and i was very prone to sun burn. could not even stay out side longer than a hour. that has been several years ago, i still get acne on my back and shoulders from gear, but not very bad. i would never do it over again.
