would the dosage be the same for a female? Or should they go down to 12.5mg of ephedrine?

Absolutely incorrect. Avoid the aspirin as its a COX-2 inhibitor.

Aspirin is a COX-2 inhibitor, which in short, means it prevents the signaling of prostoglandins to synthesize, which prevents the signaling of protein synthesis, which inevitable inhibits the synthesis of protein.
    In short:

Signaling of the hormone > phospholipase 2 active > Arachnidonic Acid released from the membrab > COX conversion of Arachnidonic Acid to prostoglandins* > signaling of protein synthesis > synthesis of protein.

    *Aspirin prevents this pathway

Aspirin inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, thus enhancing NA activity. It sort of enhances, or multiplies the effectiveness of E/C. Another option would be to subsitute Green Tea Extract instead of Aspirin.
