AS in spain?

I was in barcalona last summer. I walked into a pharmacy and asked if they sold AS. they said that you need a perscription.

I have a bb friend who lives in the canaries which are spanish islands and as far as illegal im not sure but I know you cant buy them now without a prescription but u did used to be able to not long ago how do you mean are they illegal you want to know if youu can buy them or what?>
