Anyone hear of Adequan

it is what gluclosamine turns into supposidly. A friend of mine is trying to get it, it is a vetinary product. any experience with it? Is it hard to get?

it's very hard to get without a prescription. my dad has used it successfully in the past and we recently adopted a golden with hip dysplasia in order to get a script.. my dad plans on getting the first course for himself, and saying he'd like another because the dog hasn't improved. then he'll use the second course on maxwell.

He used to get it from an online vet pharm, but every one i've seen including the one we used to order from requires a prescription.

thanks guys, my friend is almost crippled from joint pain and trying to ward off surgery for a while. I hope he can find some if it works.

ive been trying to find it for a long time but everywhere needs a script for it. best way would b to find a vet that would hook it up.
