    Bake Fina or Not...Need real answer!

    I've heard both sides, bake and not. Anyone done both? Which works better?

    really no reason to.The ba will do the same as baking it.

    I never bake. I've read conflicting reports about how the heat may damage the molecular structure of the fina. I dont even crush the pellets...i just let them disolve over the course of 2 days...takes time though...patience is a virtue

    Always bake your gear. Period. Endotoxins cannot be gotten rid of by any means except baking. BA will kill most bacteria. a .2 micron will get rid of some (NOT a .4), but baking is by far the best for bacteria AND endotoxins.

    I have never baked any of the gear I made includeing Fina and have never gotten sick or abcess.
